The video is begun from the airplane by showing a beautiful outlook of this grand scenery. It depicts this island country is around the ocean, and embellished by forest and also desert. Then the video is pulled close to the people. It elaborate the whole story by showing a family with two kids travelling in this beautiful country. Starting from this angle, the video shows how traveler can feel and observe the beauty there. Except the first overall aerial shot on the city, most views are about natural land. At first, the family riding the bicycle in the forest park, that's all about the happiness and exhilaration when children with parents were exposed to wild animals in that close and natural way. And that is also where the laugh be stem from. Obviously, they relationship and connection between human beings and animals are so harmonic and "ecological", so harmonic that everyone can gain a merriment there when he or she walks close to natural.
Then, the video shows the family's life in the hotel. Advanced hotel, delicious food, decorative environment. It is serene and tranquil feeling that we can hardly ever observe in our everyday life in big cities. During the sunset time, the sky is dimming the sunlight is tendered. On the beach, people listen to the light music and the sound of the ocean. How wonderful is it in that breezy evening, staying with family and watching the sun falling down the horizon line in faraway sea spot.
When you watching such aesthetic video, you don't really need some one talk to you and introduce what it is and appeal to you how beautiful how nice is that. No matter how precise and concise the words are, they are all redundant. Because you can feel its beauty by yourself by you intrinsic heart.
It is appealing to me a lot. In my most life I just live in one or two places, studying and working on hasty schedule. Everyday everything I face are all kinds of people, everything I hear are engines' and horns' noise from abustle roads. One day I'll definitely be sicken of that hurry city life, my study and work. I need to go back to nature, and this island is where I can gain all I need, peace and tranquility.

This video seems to be telling a story of a family's trip to Abu Dhabi. It begins looking down on a small plane flying over a beautiful landscape while light and dreamy music begins playing in the background. The whole essence of the video instantly gives off a dreamy quality.
The next scene begins with a friendly smile for a generic, vacationing family as they enter their luxurious hotel. The line “A new world of inspiration” is read as the family explores their exotic hotel. The husband and wife share a romantic moment, before leaving to bike ride the next day. The hotel experience alone seems to illustrate a feeling of relaxation and the purpose of putting the husband and wife together connects to any couple looking for an exotic getaway.
For the remainder of the video, the family explores the wild and majesty of the desert and then they relax in their hotel. The video focuses on the wildlife and vistas that are not common to our everyday lives. Imagine bicycle riding through the desert, something so familiar to us becomes so extraordinary. We next see the family driving around in a jeep observing the wildlife and at one point the children walk around near the animals and interact with them.
We want to see ourselves in place of this family and experience what they do. The video focuses on happiness because it’s a feeling we all want, who wouldn’t want to be happy. The video may not have narration to keep away from distracting the audience from observing the majesty and tranquility that they try to portray and it was smart to leave it out. Also, because the dream is meant to give the surreal nature of a dream I think that having a voice in it may have confused the audience. I think the commercial highlights exotic and fantastic possibilities, and really plays well into the idea of a dreamscape.

As this video follows a family's vacation in Abu Dhabi, they're shown experiencing many different aspects of what the desert islands have to offer. The beautiful landscapes, paired with the vast array of activities, including biking, a safari, and a spa, seem to attempt to appeal to everyone. The commercial seems to be trying to show that no matter what your interests are, you can find something to do on Abu Dhabi. Throught the video, a lot of emphasis is places on the various family members, showing that they are happy and enjoying themselves. That makes this vacation place seem like a good fit for an entire family, not just the parents or just the childern. Also, just using music as a background to the video instead of narration allows each person to make their own inferences, and allows them to narrate the video to themselves. This makes the video more applicable to everyone who could be watching it. Overall, the many different aspects of this commercial make for an effective advertisement for Abu Dhabi.

The juxtaposition of humans and animals could show the connectivity that you can get to nature if you visit this vacation destination. Not many people think of going to a desert area as an ideal vacation spot, and what this video is trying to emphasize is that there's a certain intimacy with nature you can experience by choosing this area as your vacation destination. Showing the multitude of smiles is an important marketing and advertising tool as it shows you that people are happy and having fun in this locale. Not only will this appeal to consumers, since most people want to vacation in order to be happy and have fun, but it also creates an immediate positive reaction in the viewers. When one sees multiple people smiling it has a tendency to infect the viewer with the urge to join those smiling and smile themselves, or at least have an elated sense of happiness after viewing the commercial. When a video has narration it directs the viewer into looking at the video in a certain view or through a specific lens. Without narration it allows the viewer to form their own personal narration in their minds based on their perception of what they see. This makes the advertisement appeal to a broader audience, because it allows the viewer to experience the ad through their own creativity and own fantasies within their minds. I think this commercial is effective in its attempts to persuade consumers into wanting to vacation at this locale. Even I, who did not find much appeal in vacationing in a desert location, may consider vacationing here someday. It showed me sides of the desert i didnt consider before and i feel that i would be able to find entertainment in such a place.

This is a perfect commercial to attract public to travel United Arab Emirates. It emphasis United Arab Emirates is an astounding, amazing, wonderful place that we never seen. At the beginning of the commercial, zigzag coast, charming seaside with smarting sea breeze and taste, sea melody are full of the scene. And then, sweet smile from the local citizen, delicate handicrafts, majestic and resplendent designing and interesting activities spread out before us one by one.
However, the most enchanting place is not the beautiful scene, but rather the harmony between the human being and nature. The animals here are not afraid of seeing mankind and are not confined by the cage. They can look into the camera naturally and stand in various poses while they see some human were photographed. The service industry is also outstanding here. People who travel here will appreciate the facial massage and luxurious hotel.
I think narration is superfluous because such a beautiful cannot be described by any language on the world. No matter how beautiful word it is, it will become pale and useless when the paradise is shown before us.
This commercial is real successful and it touched the chord in my heart that if I have a girlfriend, I will take her to the United Arab Emirates for holidays.

The video contains the beautiful views about Abu Dhabi deserts to show how this country has built these such amazing man-made landscapes. Shanghai Expo is about a global exhibition to show every country's idea about art, culture, and technology in future. Environment-friendly technology is a hot topic that every country tries to express. United Arab Emirates is a middle East country which locates in deserts, and people can imagine how badly the environment if people live in this area. However, the video shows how beautiful and harmonious people are capable of dealing with the terrible environment. This shows how technology changes the situation in country, we could see lakes in deserts, people visit amazing landscapes which are built on deserts. And I think narration is not necessary to add in this video since audience focuses on the gorgeous views, and works are not strong to explain how amazing these senses are. And so that is the reason why we see so many smiles on people's face since technology can change things, and I think that is the purpose the video is trying to tell audience, and why I saw United Arab Emirates did build an awesome pavilion in Shanghai, and is one of the most popular pavilion people want to visit in Shanghai Expo.

The scenes shown by the video try to connect the viewer to primitive emotions. The views of natural scenery and vast landscapes try to evoke feelings of adventure and discovery. Views of smiling people appear so many times in the video to advertise how enjoyable a trip to the UAE can be. Though there is no narration in the video, I think it should be left this way. The lack of spoken words leaves the scenes to speak for them selves, the lack of narration also leaves the viewer to interpret the scene for him/her self. After viewing the video, the UAE seems like it would be a nice place to visit. The video is a bit boring though, and I would choose an alternative vacation destination if possible.

This Abu Dhabi official tourism commercial unfolds gorgeous landscape, luxurious hotels and actual wild practices from the perspective and experience of a family. The whole process gives me Abu Dhabi is a dream country to live or to enjoy.
Like most films, bird’s-eye view is a good way to film the whole scene of ocean. Taking soarer, flying above the bright blue ocean is such romantic. I think couples will not want to miss this kind of memory.
Waiters’ attitudes seem to be the face of service occupation. Moving smile first makes a good impression on travelers. All the scenes, children’s curiosity to the displays, couples’ romantic moment, show the great hotel services in Abu Dhabi.
Riding bicycles through the desert, driving Jeep and catching up wildlife, interacting with the wildlife, these usually showed scenes could be achieved in Abu Dhabi.
These commercial is really effective, because it shows an opportunity to make dream come true. The whole video is filled with travelers’ happiness. It also portrays desert is not only desert, it could be extraordinary.

This video is a awesome advertisement of Desert Island the sharp images, the beautiful landscapes. The feeling of a utopia a world that is so carefree, beautiful, and limitless that you can do anything imaginable. This video really makes you feel like you are right there experiencing the vacation with the family as they vacation in the Desert Island this video actually make you feel actively involved with everything that takes place in the video. I think they creator of this video does an awesome job with makeing you forget your current life and transcends you into the beautiful Desert Island. I think it is a great exhilerating commercial that stimulates the imagination as you watch the video you feel like you are taking part in what is taking place. I am sold book me a ticket.

This video portrays everything good about Abu Dhabi. It displays everything from luxurious resorts, to wild safari's filled with exotic animals, to calming bays of water with kayaks gliding through. The entire time it has, what i'm assuming, is traditional music of the region to help bring out the ethnicity involved. The promotional video is made with no narrative as to keep the tranquility of everything, I believe that if it was made with narration and a voice describing things it would take away from the overall grandeur of the piece. I don't think that it is trying to connect anything, especially with the animals. It is simply showing all of the glorious things that this place has to offer. As to why this video is being used in our class topic of globalization, I am not sure. Yes, it does show something foreign but I believe that it is simply an add that has no real pertinence to our topic. It does not give much room to analyze how our world is becoming globally integrated. Although I am very convinced that it would be a lovely destination to vacation, I am not sold on how it is relevant to our topic.

I think that the video is trying to portray Abu Dhabi as a peaceful serene environment to be around by utilizing animals and the soft music. The smiling lens is shown to further the idea of serenity and peace, it is very calming. There is no narration, and it is not needed. The imagery shown is all that is needed to get the point across that it is a beautiful place. Narration would just add clutter to the mix. After watching the video Abu Dhabi would be a cool place to visit.
